We have finished adding new class 5 (PBX) features to our softswitch - voicemail , voicemail transcription (using Google Translate) , IVR , time/calendar based routing , and call forwarding.
2009/03/10 - Inbound/Origination services launch
First two vendor interconnections added for origination (DID/DDI) services . Coverage within US, CA and UK.
2009/01/28 - Softswitch project launched into production
First customers start using our own - in-house developed - softswitch. Primary usage for call termination at this time.
2008/12/31 - Work completed on desk phone and ATA provisioning
Work on provisioning for various phone and ATA models completed - Linksys, Grandstream Polycom, Cisco, Aastra , Snom
2008/08/01 - New country, new office
Touchdown. MultiTEL opens up a point of presence in the US
2008/01/01 - Softswitch project startup
Having worked for several years with various open source and commercial voip solutions, we feel it is time to move on.
Work begins on our own voice softswitch product.
2006/09/01 - Cisco Network and Call Manager project
A new project - this time with B.P. Angola - network and Cisco Call Manager maintenance and deployment. Providing network/communications services maintenance for several local and remote offices and offshore oil rigs.
2005/11/01 - Deploying voice and wifi hotspot services on in a city-wide kiosk network
Work in progress - deploying a city wide network of public internet access points using a mix of fiber, ethernet and wireless. The access points provide voice and wifi hotspot services for our customer, a local news distribution network in Romania.
2005/06/15 - Yet another project for a Zyxel based DSL network
Piggybacking on our earlier success deploying voice services on a Zyxel based DSL network, we are deploying the same config / service in a similar network for a different customer.
2004/12/10 - Voice deployed on an Alvarion WiMax network
We have successfully tested and deployed voice services in an Alvarion WiMax network.
2004/05/10 - Voice deployed on a Cisco based network (LRE/uBR)
We have configured / deployed voice on our customer's hybrid network (via their LRE switches and via their uBR cable headend).
2004/04/01 - Enabling voice on a Zyxel DSLAM based network
Service deployed in a Zyxel DSLAM based network. First few subscribers are already connected and using the service.
2004/01/15 - First customers successfully place calls through the 3COM CMTS headend
First several customers start using the service through our customer's cable network.
2003/10/01 - Enabling voice on a 3Com CMTS based network
We have successfully configured and tested voice on a 3Com CMTS based network. Customer to start selling this service to his subscribers first quarter of 2014.
2003/05/15 - MultiTEL project is born
The foundation stone of what later became MultiTEL is set. We are routing our first calls, using the H323 protocol and Cisco ATAs.
