General considerations:
How dialing works
Dialing an extension follows a series of steps based on the extension status and its configuration.
Here are some examples:
Online Extension without any FMFM number defined and without any additional destination defined. Extension is called. Nobody answers. After the “Inbound Ring Timeout” the call drops.
Offline Extension without any FMFM defined and without any additional destination defined.
Extension is called. Call drops immediately.
Online Extension with a FMFM number defined and without any additional destination defined. Extension is called. Nobody answers. After the “Inbound Ring Timeout” the FMFM number is dialed for the FMFM Dial Timeout.
Online Extension without FMFM number defined, with an additional destination to Voicemail for the No Answer. Extension is called. Nobody answers. After the “Inbound Ring Timeout”, voicemail answers.

Multiple selects: In almost every place of the interface, when a drop down menu is shown, multiple options can bepicked up, ordered or deleted. There is no limit about the number of options that can be added.
Ex:
All options/destinations will be executed in the order they are placed, top to bottom. As an example from the screenshot above, we’ll first Record a Message, then Wait five seconds and then Say the date and time. If no other option is added, implicit destination executed will be Hang-up. Please note that the Hang-up destination does not necessarily need to be added at the bottom of the list. Whatever options/destinations are added after Hang-up will be executed after the call has been hung up.
Sections: On the left hand side of the PBX menu are two sections: Configuration and Status. Configuration will allow you to configure all settings related to your new Hosted PBX instance while Status will show you various information regarding calls, queues, logs, etc.
Under Configuration:
Extensions:
The list of extensions defined for the selected tenant are shown along with the caller ID,
Username and password associated. You can create one or multiple new extensions using the buttons on the top right.
During the creation of the Hosted PBX instance, our choice for Maximum extensions was 5. As you can see from the above image, we have already added 4. Adding the 5th one will disable adding more (because we reached the predefined number of 5 maximum extensions):
For each extension a small icon next to the extension number will display the status: Green - registered
Red - offline
Yellow - not yet registered.

Extension Deletion:
To delete an extension, you would click the delete button at the end of the extension definition. A message will request confirmation. Deleting the extension will unregister and clean it from the PBX peer cache, denying any operation for the deleted extension.
Multiple Delete of Extensions:
To delete multiple extensions at once you would click on the garbage can icon located in the upper right hand corner of the extensions list. Once clicked, a new column will appear on the left, allowing you to select the extensions you wish to delete. Once you have the extensions you wish to delete selected, you’ll then click the red “Delete Selected” button (located in the upper right hand corner, as shown below).
DIDs – Direct Inward Dials (also known as DDI in Europe)
Every tenant can be assigned a group of DIDs, numbers to be dialed from the outside.
Each DID can be configured to reach a certain extension, Queue, Hunt Group, IVR, or any combination of the elements defined for the tenant. The same DID cannot be assigned to more than one tenant and there is no correlation between the dialing profile assigned to a tenant, the trunk provider used, and the incoming DID. For this reason is highly important the incoming INVITE from the trunk provider contains all the info to identify correctly the DID it is addressing.
